About this location
A former farmhouse situated in the historic Lincolnshire Estate village of Leadenham on the Lincoln Cliff. Built circa 1800 as part of the Reeve Estate it is built in Ancaster stone and boasts original iron railings and gates to the front, and a sweeping lawned garden to the rear. Inside the beautiful staircase with the original bannister leads to the first floor. Downstairs reception rooms have original coving and window shutters. Rooms are of impressive proportions, and each bedroom has a fireplace. Renovation of the first floor is nearly complete and we have introduced colour, pattern and texture in the rooms we have completed. Downstairs remains a work in progress - a number of 1980s “modernisations” remain, including the kitchen (which houses an oil-fuelled Aga) and the downstairs toilet, complete with a turquoise suite. Outside, there are several undeveloped outbuildings, including a two-story barn.

Upstairs - two children’s bedrooms (one en-suite), both completely renovated. Fully renovated family bathroom with freestanding bath looking out over the garden and farmland. Spare bedroom - fully renovated. Studio/office - also fully renovated. Lastly, we have a huge space which was once a family games room and attached bathroom, which we are currently renovating into a master bedroom suite (bathroom, walk-in closet and bedroom). Downstairs - two large reception rooms, one being used as a dining room with original coving and shutters, and a living room with original coving, shutters and French doors overlooking the garden. The third reception room is being used as a playroom (which has rare pull-up shutters to both windows). Office, kitchen with oil-fired Aga, small pantry, large utility room and attached toilet/coat storage. None of the downstairs has been renovated for many years. All windows are timber sash.
