Directly outside the main entrance is a private south facing courtyard of similar scale, which can be used as a secondary filming or staging space. In addition, guests have access to the wider steading courtyard, landscaped gardens and communal green spaces within the development.

The steading also includes additional amenities nearby, including a coffee shop and other independent businesses, making it practical for longer filming days or crew use.

The property benefits from free on site parking within the steading development. There are no parking meters or vouchers required. Parking is suitable for cars and small vans, with straightforward access for loading and unloading equipment. Vehicles must be parked considerately within designated areas and access routes kept clear at all times.

For larger production vehicles, advance discussion is recommended to ensure appropriate positioning within the courtyard.

The venue is also within close walking distance of Longniddry train station, providing direct links to Edinburgh and making access straightforward for cast and crew travelling by rail.

The space must be used only for the purpose agreed at the time of booking. Any changes to the nature of the shoot or event must be approved in advance.

Maximum capacity must not be exceeded.

The venue operates as an active cookery school. Fixed signage on the entrance door cannot be removed. While we will minimise visible branding where possible, the space cannot be made fully anonymous.

Use of kitchen equipment, catering equipment and Yarrow staff is not included in dry hire unless agreed in writing in advance.

No open flame cooking, deep fat frying or hazardous materials are permitted without prior approval.

No structural alterations, drilling, fixing or attaching items to walls, floors or ceilings without written consent.

Outdoor amplified music is not permitted without prior approval. All events must respect neighbouring businesses within the steading.

Access is limited to the agreed hire period. Setup and breakdown must take place within booked hours. Overtime will be charged.

The space must be left in a tidy condition. Any damage to fixtures, furniture or the courtyard will be chargeable.

Smoking is not permitted inside the building. Smoking may take place outside in designated areas only.
