About this location

First opened in 1977, it is the sister restaurant to the original New York site, named after its owner and creator. The restaurant interior is surrounded by vintage theatre posters plastered over bare brick walls. The bar takes inspiration from the discreet, neighbourhood drinking dens of downtown New York to create an atmospheric and welcoming space. Flanked by a long, dark walnut counter, a mirrored back bar brimming with spirits, leather banquettes and bentwood bar stools.
