Originally part of a Victorian-era paper mill, the building has been thoughtfully restored to maintain its original character, exposed brickwork, large windows, and high ceilings, while being transformed into a modern creative space. Today, it serves as a vibrant hub for photographers, filmmakers, artists, and creative professionals.

The space is spread across multiple versatile rooms, including The Photography Studio, The Kitchen Studio and The Loft Studio with meeting areas, and lounge space. each space has a dedicated bathroom.

Rules and restrictions
Paper Mill Studios – House Rules (Short Form)Plants Please do not water, move, or damage any plants.
Artwork Ask permission before moving any artworks or decorative items.
Storage Do not access storage areas or move stored items without staff assistance.
Damage You are responsible for any damages. No gaffer tape on surfaces. Report any issues immediately.
Walls No drilling, nails, or tape on walls or wooden paneling. Ask before decorating.
Floors Lift, don't drag furniture or equipment. No stilettos. Scratches or damage will be charged.
Surfaces Protect kitchen and marble surfaces from heavy or hot items.
Cleaning Leave the space as found: return furniture, clean used areas, and load dishwashers. Cleaning fees apply if left untidy.
Bins Use designated bin bags (£1.50 recycling / £2.50 waste). Larger waste incurs a £20 per item charge.
Food & Drink Plant-based kitchen. Free tea, coffee, oat milk. Bring your own food or catering. Use appliances safely.
Smoking No smoking/vaping indoors. Smoke away from entrances and terraces.
Pets No pets without prior agreement (guide/assistance dogs allowed).
Working Hours & Overtime Standard hours: 9am–6pm. Overtime: 20% of day rate per hour.
Toilets Use only your designated toilets. We do not have a fully accessible toilet.
Haze/Smoke Machines No use without prior approval. Only approved water-based haze allowed.
Terraces Be respectful of neighbors. No BBQs or smoking without permission.
Deliveries & Security Deliveries must arrive during booking time. Secure your own deliveries. Only allow pre-approved people inside.
CCTV The building is secured with alarms and CCTV. Overnight storage of equipment is possible with consecutive bookings.
Extra Charges Possible additional costs: overtime, damages, waste management, cleaning, parking, three-phase power, etc.
Three-Phase Power Use incurs a £150 charge.
Parking No on-site parking. Day permits available for £35 per car.
