Our Grade II* listed building offers both traditional and contemporary backdrops for filming. All rooms have distinct and spectacular features, offering a versatile and stylish venue option for filming. Moments from central London’s most iconic locations, is a historic, 19th-century venue in the heart of the city.

Grandeur, tradition, majestic architecture, style, and impeccable service. Different spaces to hire, distinctive and varied in size, but one thing remains the same: their impressive stature. Different style rooms and hallways available for filming, or used as green rooms, alternative entrances, make-up and costume spaces or used as a crowd base.

Beautiful alcoves, stained-glass windows, grand chandeliers, and marble pillars give this venue opulence and a sense of history, all seamlessly and subtly integrated with the technology needed for a modern feel.

Room breakdown

The Common Room - The Common Room provides a unique backdrop for lfilming and photo shoots. It combines the 19th century decor of mahogany panelling which is offset by beautiful stained-glass windows.  The Common Room is the largest room in the venue, on the 1st floor, and offers air conditioning and lift access.

The Reading Room - The impressive Reading Room features a 12m high glass ceiling with a classic blue and cream colour scheme. Located on the ground floor, opposite the main entrance this space is ideal for filming, crowd base space, photo shoots, dressing or make-up room space. 

Six Clerks - Our Restaurant is a comfortable contemporary space, with a mirror on one of the walls and windows on all the rest around the room. It is located on the ground floor and can be used as a restaurant setting or a reception room. 

David Lloyd George - Flooded with daylight through the double height windows, this opulent space, adorned with grand chandeliers, silk curtains, oak panelling and an elegant gold and blue colour scheme, has the added benefit of an ante room with bar and catering area.Private and soundproofed, the David Lloyd George Room was originally the council chamber for the Law Society and is perfect for smaller crews, interviews, podcasts.

We have a loading bay and parking nearby. However, parking is not included in the hire.
