The Farm is located in the Blackdown Hills an area of outstanding natural beauty. It is a 160-acre farm with ancient woodland and parkland, and a river tributary of the River Otter. It adjoins an ancient Iron Age hill fort run by the National Trust. The farmhouse is Regency built circa 1820 and is Grade II listed. The farm has a number of converted 19th-century flint barns set around a traditional cobbled yard. The garden is occasionally opened to the public through the NGS. The House was featured on the front cover of Country Life. The Farmhouse was converted in the 2020's it contains many full-length portraits from the 18th century and other antiques. The is a beautiful natural swimming pond which has featured in Country Life.
