Location Overview

The property is in the East Sussex countryside, just over an hours drive from South London. The house extends from a medieval centre with exposed beams, brick floors and an inglenook fireplace to a large, light, contemporary kitchen/living space with concrete floor and worktops. The kitchen bi-fold doors open up onto half an acre of mature cottage-style garden which includes a beautiful hedged vegetable garden and a horse box sauna. The garden backs onto a pasture field which is used only for a few weeks of the year to graze cows. There are three lovely bedrooms with differing styles available to shoot in. The property is also where we run our small basket-making business, in a wooden workshop adjacent to the house. We always have work on the go and lots of interesting craft objects which can be featured in shoots if clients want the look of an active craft workshop. There is space on our drive for 3 or 4 vehicles and additional free parking 50m down the road. There is a farm shop 50m away and a pub which serves lunch and dinner 5 mins walk away. The village also has a picturesque historic railway which has been used as an additional location by some previous clients.
